The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is the state agency responsible for operation and maintenance of commercial aviation, maritime, and certain bridge facilities in and around the Port of Boston. Its properties are managed and developed by the property management/real estate development unit of its development division. Series is subject files created by the unit as reference in managing the World Trade Center, a trade and transportation facility on Boston Harbor owned and leased by the authority, as authorized by St 1967, c 719, s 5 (MGLA c 91 App, s 1-4A). Series documents the center's planning, development, construction, and leasing.
